our own little world

next Sunday (November 9) is the international day of prayer for the persecuted church...did you know that more people are martyred for their faith in Jesus today than back when Jesus was alive?...I think we get tunnel vision as we are all caught up in what is happening in our own little world...and we forget that this planet we call Earth has 6 billion people living on it...who all wake up just like we do...need to eat like we do...need a roof over their head...and the freedom to worship or not worship whoever they so choose...I know it can be mind boggling thinking about the massiveness (don't know if that is a word or I just made it up) of humanity and all the things that happen to each and every person every single day...whew!!!! I'm tired just typing it...as we sit in our climate controled sanctuaries...and worship without fear of anything...let us not be caught up in our own little world...may we cry out to God for those who have no voice...those who hide to worship...and may we not take our freedom for granted...be passionate about your worship of the everlasting God...you never know we may have to hide one day...relax God is in control!
