blame

I think it is time we stop blaming the media, government, rock and roll, etc...as I was praying this morning God impressed upon me that it has been far to long that the church has put the blame for moral decline on everyone else...the scripture says judgement begins in the house of the Lord...let me see if I can give you some insight to my thought process...back in the 60's we blamed taking prayer out of school for the moral decline...in the 70's we blamed the music...in the 80's we blamed the government...in the 90's it was the decline of the family unit...I think you are getting my drift...we the people who claim to follow the way the truth and the life need to do exactly that...no one ever could stop me from praying when I was in school...the problem is "we stopped" because someone said we couldn't do it...it hasn't been the people who don't know the truth, it has been those who claim to know God...we stopped teaching our children in our homes and placed it in the hands of a school...no one can come into my home and stop me from teaching my family what is truly right...I don't care how many laws they pass...no we stopped because we want to blame everyone else for the worlds darkness...the problem is we are the light and we have put it under a bushel...it is the bushel of blame...I believe it is the greatest time in history to be a follower of Jesus...so let's do it and quit blaming our weakness on others...relax God is in control!
