Christmas

merry Christmas everyone...may this little blog find you blessed and being a blessing...this Christmas has taken on a whole new deal for me...let's just say without the ability to go out and spend a whole lot, you begin to see Christmas for what it really is...now I am not going to be slamming the commercialism...or the ones who only see it as time off from work...or even we who are suppose to be slowing everyone down by giving them more to do during this time of the year...(live nativities, kidz programs)...I know, I know old habits are hard to break...I am trying my best to take some time and really reflect at the specific reason why we celebrate this time of the year...the Word becoming Flesh...the one who made the womb, entrapped Himself there for nine months...the one who holds all things together, held by His own creation...the one who started time, enters it...you know if we were to take time from all the baking, wrapping, shopping...the significance of the day would bring us to our knees...just as the wise men so long ago...who brought gifts fit for a King...I hope the gifts I give some how some way express my love for Him...my hands, my feet, my heart are totally His...my future...let us be in awe like the shepherds of old when the angel announced to them...Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people, For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."...there is a song we sing "Joy to the World, the Lord has come, let earth receive her King, let every heart prepare Him room, and Heaven and nature sing"...this Christmas, have you made room for Him?...I am not asking if you have made space for Him..have you made room?...I hope you have...because nothing else is worth our celebration...relax God is in control!
