Trust
one of the definitions of trust in Webster's Super New School and Office Dictionary is this (as a verb) 3. to permit or to do something without fear of the outcome...without fear of the outcome...how many of us can actually say that when we wake up in the morning we trust God totally with the outcome of our day?...I would like to say that I do...but recently it seems as long as I have plenty money in the bank...or my day is scheduled to the minute...or I have figured out how God is going to bring about the things that I have prayed for , can I say, I trust him...Paul made the awsome statement in Philippians 3 that he wanted to know Him and the power of His resurrection...do you think Paul had that figured out?...do you think he fully understood how that power worked?...maybe its just me but I get kind of wigged out when I don't know how things are going to happen...I guess I am like the one's in the boat fearing for their lives as this mighty wall of water was coming at them...no ecape, or at least in their minds there wasn't...they didn't understand that they were with the one who created the waves...if you are facing things that seem like there is no way good is going to come from it...trust...trust the one who spoke this world into existance...trust the one who cares for all He has made...cry out to Him without fear of the outcome...I say I believe...may I start really trusting Him...relax God is in control!
