messing up

don't you just hate it when you mess up? I think we are harder on ourselves than anyone else could ever be. we worry about what people will say, we wonder if people will still like us, we actually make ourselves sick playing out all kinds of senarios in our heads (which by the way most never happen). I am so grateful that God doesn' t treat us like we treat ourselves or each other when we mess up. The scripture is clear confess and he'll forgive. sounds easy enough, so why do we have such a hard time doing it? relax God is in control!
